Our Story

Hello, my name is Dr. Todd W. Spilker. I was raised on a farm south of Clay Center, KS and am a graduate of Kansas State University. Through my college years I became more and more interested in healthy living and exercise. With this in mind, I enrolled at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.

I was extremely fortunate to have fulfilled my internship with Dr. John Wertin of Manhattan, KS. I am grateful to have learned his unique adjusting style utilizing Activator Methods testing. Upon graduating in 1994, I worked as an associate for him in my home town of Clay Center, KS. I am proud to have been able to serve my community from 1995 - 2002.

In 2003 an exciting opportunity presented itself in the desert Southwest. My wife Stephanie and I made the bold decision to move our family to Phoenix, AZ. During this time I met Dr. Chris Colloca, a much renowned Chiropractic researcher and developer. He introduced me to the Impulse Adjusting Instrument and it’s cutting edge technology. This adjusting instrument, in conjunction with Dr. Wertin’s spinal testing, is the foundation of how I practice at Complete Care Chiropractic today.

As valuable as the experience in Phoenix was, my family and I missed the change of seasons, small town hospitality, and seeing the color purple! In 2004, Dr. Wertin and Dr. Mike Hamler presented me with the opportunity to become an associate in Wamego, KS. I was beyond grateful and excited to bring my family back home to the Midwest.

In 2011 we made the transition from associate to owner and rebranded our practice to Complete Care Chiropractic, LLC.  My amazing staff and I are pleased to continue to offer the same great chiropractic care the region has come to expect.
